CutRite Heavy Duty Freezer Paper is the thickest & sturdiest freezer paper available. It feels like cardstock and it won't curl up and it is reusable.  

It works in any ink jet printer to print patterns, shapes & templates to use as stencils, traditional & template applique or as a stabilizer for writing on fabric.

I probably won't use it for all of my appliqué templates, but there are definitely places where this product would be handy.
